Just finished filming on Desperate Landscapes

My sculpture "Ballet" was the star of the show for the filming of Desperate Landscapes, a DIY Network television show. The episode should air in February 2011. I'll send out updates when I know the date.

Ballet was the finishing touch to the total yard makeover. I can't show any photos of the makeover until the show airs, but let me tell you, from 7:00am to 3:00pm the yard went from BAD to FANTASTIC.

Large Wall Sculpture for Incline Village

I've been working on a large wall sculpture for a client in Incline Village, NV. A 7 foot by 3.5 foot abstract of playing card suits. It's looking great. Cold Rolled sheet steel with backing. Will look great in the dining room.

I should be installing it in 2 weeks or so. Will look great in place.

I am working on more of this type of work, in HOT rolled steel with my own completely abstract patterns, patterns that I create on the computer with a pen tablet using Adobe Illustrator.

I can't wait to get another sheet and get something great going.

San Francisco Art Gallery

Boy it's tough out there. seems there are thousands of "me" out there looking to get their art into a gallery. I was counting on the galleries to contact me after they found me on the web and then beg me to show in their space. Fantasy 1 scrapped.

Well I spent an entire day going to 30 galleries in San Francisco and only found 2 galleries that were to my liking. There were so many galleries with Picasso's and other odd named famous people that it actually got redundant.

The galleries that I chose had a wonderful selection of NEW, EXCITING artwork. This refreshed me from the previous 28 galleries full of OLD STUFF.

Well, I left my portfolio, reluctantly, with one of the galleries (because they would accept it) and moved on.

I just know my work is the bestest ever art sculpture, ever (GRIN).

Someday San Francisco will come calling - and I'll for sure answer.

New work to show you all out there
